  3. Grammar • The past indefinite tense: • 1). An action completed at a definite time in the past • 2).an action that lasted for some time in the past and was completed and sometimes can be the same as the present perfect tense 3). A past habit

  4. The past continuous tense • 1). An action that was going on at a certain time in the past • 2). An action that was going on at a time when something else happened

  5. Sentence translation 1. I feel my heart beat fast. 2. We saw him cross the street. 3. I heard him open the door. 4. Her step-mother made her suffer a lot. 5. I will have him translate the story for me. 6. Something which happened helped me decide I really wanted to do.
