  2. Definition Mathematics is the study of such topics as quantity,structure,space and change.It has no generally accepted definition.It is thestudy of shapes and motions of physical objects.

  3. What Use in Math In Everyday Life? Math's is all around us, its everywhere we go. It is a lyric that could go easily have been sung by wet wet wet. It may have not made it into the four wedding soundtrack.

  5. Perfect Squares Square of whole numbers (a+b)

  6. Square Root One of the two equal factors of a number. If a squared equals b then a is the square root of b.The square root of 144 is 12 because 12 squared is 144.

  7. Irrational Numbers Numbers that cannot be expressed as a/b

  8. Real Numbers Irrational numbers together with rationalnumbers to form the set of all numbers.

  10. Whole Numbers 0,1,2,3,4,5………..

  11. Integers The whole numbers and their opposites. -3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3…..

  12. Rational Numbers Any number that can be expressed in the form a/b where a and b are integers and b is not equal to 0.
