  2. 4.2 Expanding Secure TeraGrid Access • A TeraGrid identity management infrastructure that interoperates with campus cyberinfrastructure and other grids for a transparent user experience • Infrastructure Improvement • HA MyProxy, review/document TG IDM practices • Inter-Grid Interoperability • Intergrid bridge requirements and design • Develop TG bridge with VOMS based grid(s) • Campus CI Interoperability • TG InCommon membership. Shibboleth based access to TG • Shib to X.509 certificate gateway and account linking • Science Gateway AAA • User Attribute handling

  3. 4.3 Operational Instrumentation • Measurement infrastructure that provides a view into key areas of the TG that are important to users, operators and administrators • Identify and develop process for adding additional instruments • Add further instruments and develop analysis tools for tracking key metrics • Develop reporting infrastructure

  4. 4.4 INCA Improvements • Expand INCA system to provide further functionality for systems administrators, users and management • Historical displays, real time monitoring, state change monitoring and summarization work • User views, scheduled downtime • Workflow based tests • Information services integration • Expantion of service monitoring

  5. 4.5 New RP Integration • Develop a clear process which clearly defines integration responsibilities of the GIG and new Resource Providers and strives to efficiently and cost-effectively bring in new partners. • Develop overview checklist • Write integration document based on checklist, including feedback from recently integrated partners • Track integration, collect feedback from new partners

  6. 4.6 Operational Excellence • Improve the coordination of services (authentication, monitoring, web, network, etc) as well as track and improve service reliability. • Inventory, document and flag current services and operational models • Develop a team of current service operators that work in coordination with each other and management • Expand team to include directly funded GIG staff • Identify and implement monitoring of reliability and usage metrics for services

  7. Core Services 2.0 • Evaluate and implement a streamlined set of procedures and process for bringing users into the TG environment, establishing their TG identity and making allocation and authorization decisions for use of TG resources. • Dave Hart will be presenting on this
