  2. Mongolian Beef 1 pound flank steak, cut into thin strips ¼ cup soy sauce 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce 1 tablespoon sesame oil 2 teaspoons sugar 2 teaspoons peanut oil for stir frying 4 cups of cooked white rice

  3. Fried Or Steamed Mongolian Booz “Mongols National Meal” Ingredients: Dough: Water Flour Salt Filling:Minced Beef Or Mutton Up: Assorted Booz Left: Steamed Booz Right: Fried Booz

  4. Mongolian Milk Tea Left: Woman making large pot of milk tea Below: Bowl of pure liquid milk tea Milk tea is drunk with almost every meal. Sometimes milk tea is more like a soup, and it has bits of dough or rice in it. Left: Instant Milk Tea, not as good but a good substitute

Often hats were adorned with velvet, silk, tassels, baubles, and precious gems. Fun Fact: Queen Amadala’s wardrobe was directly influenced from Mongolian women.
