  2. Essential AKS EQ: 7th and 8th: Can I remember the C, F, Bb, Ab, and Eb concert scales and my Chromatic Scale? 6th: Can I play a scale? Can I clap and count rhythms from the book and the slide show? AKS: (6,7,8BA_A2005-4) Keep a steady tempo and count rhythmically. (6,7,8BA_A2005-7) Read and perform rhythms containing whole notes, half notes, and quarter notes (6,7,8BA_A2005-2) Demonstrate characteristic tone quality and identify the timbre of band/orchestra instruments
