  4. Globalization • Schools from all over the globe can connect to each other • Can connect with each other without leaving the comfort of the classroom • Students can interact with foreign students and teachers to learn language courses

  5. School Improvements • Learning • Decrease in dropout percentages • Attendance • Student graduating • Parent involvement

  6. Correspondence Courses • Correspondence courses have become easier and more effective • Students may now email their assignments to their professors • Internet has enabled students to send work quicker

  7. Web Discussions • Students can virtually attend events • Actually talk to important people through web seminars; unable to show up to presentations • Programs help students with vital information

  8. Enhanced Internet • Videos can show students how to do a specific task • Literature could be enhanced by online sources • Best of all worlds for visual, kinetic, and audio learners

  12. Elevated Anger • Our generation today enjoys the pleasure of themselves in the internet, texting or gaming. • Leading to frustration whenever parents ask them to do something while using the internet or playing video games. • Behaviors like this shatters many parent-children

  13. Writing skills • Relies on digital communication and forgetting to improve their writing skills. • Instead of writing the full word out, they tend to use abbreviations/slang.

  14. Academics • Spends too much time in front of the television or playing video games. • Tends to be distracted by the new technology. • Kids multi-task, but they focus more on the interesting things, instead of the more important ones.

  15. Laziness • Tends to go on the internet for the answer without trying to figure it out themselves. • Can’t find the mentality to get the energy to accomplish the assignments, so social networks become more as a an attention grabber.

  16. Lack of Privacy • The internet has stripped the world of privacy these days with their apps and websites. • People can find all of your information on the website you go on all the time. • There are a lot of hackers these days, they would do anything to get all your info.

  17. Cyber-Bullying • The use of technology has increase bullying very much, where kids cannot be themselves because everywhere they go, they get picked on • They say it on the internet so everyone can see, which they want to act cool • Teen suicide rates have increased

  18. Stressed • Using too much Technology results in students focusing more on the outside world. • Instead of accomplishing tasks they tend to be more concerned with outside matters. • Slow internet connections

  20. Sexual Boundaries • Happening at young age. • Messaging sexual body parts that lasts for 10 second,but where does it go after? • Sexting
