One Year Election Process • Tuesday, June 9th: Election Process Overview • Wednesday, June 17th: Nominations & Acceptances are open • To Nominate, write in subject box: “I nominate <name> for <position>” • To Accept, write in subject box “I <name> accept the nomination for <position>” • Wednesday, June 24th, 7 pm: Nominations & Acceptances are closed • Friday, June 26th, 10:30 AM – 12 PM: Speeches during class • 2 minutes • Friday, June 26th, 12 PM – Monday, June 29th 10 PM: Voting • I will post a link to ‘One Year MBA10’ to vote • Tool is bulletproof – secure, eliminates run-offs • Will close promptly at 10 PM on Monday • July 1st: Results announced

VP of the One Year Class • This person is responsible for representing the unique concerns and perspectives of the One Year MBA students as a member of the Graduate Business Executive Council (GBA) • Key Responsibilities: • Ensure that the voice of One-Year students is represented at weekly GBA meetings • Appoint One Year students to the positions of Graduation Team Member and Historian • Work with the EVP on special projects, as deemed appropriate by the Executive Council • Actively encourage the integration between One-Year and Two-Year classes • Plan Lead Week integration event with 2nd years • Plan integration event with 1st years and One years during 1st year orientation (early August) • Promote participation and leadership within the One-Year class • Program Office meetings with KoreBreault to provide feedback on program • Assist Program Office on special projects (business school tours, new initiatives, etc) • Play an active role with Class Gift and Welcome Weekend and Orientation for succeeding class

  6. Academic Affairs Representative • The Academic Affairs Representative is someone who is interested in and committed to improving Goizueta’s curriculum. This student will represent the One Year MBAs and serve as the liaison between current students, the faculty, and the administration. This year Goizueta may host a Leadership Case Competition and this student will likely serve on that committee. • Kyle Ankrom, Two Year VP, MBA10

Career Management Representative • The Career Management Representative is someone who wants to provide positive and constructive feedback from the student body to the CMC and who wants to spend time developing recommendations to address concerns, as well as, take equal ownership with the CMC in the implementation of such recommendations. • ArunMulchandani, Two Year VP, MBA10

  8. Alumni Relations Representative • The Alumni Relations Representative is committed to improving Goizueta’s Alumni relations and programs. This student main responsibility is to work on the Class Gift. They will also work with current students and alumni to improve communications and enhance the quality and quantity of local alumni events. • Jean Downing, Two Year VP, MBA10

  9. Multicultural Affairs Representative • The Multicultural Affairs Representative is an active voice for cultural organizations and underrepresented students in the Goizueta community. This representative will work closely with the Director of Diversity & Community Initiatives and help Black MBA, IBA, GWIB, HBA etc. to implement their initiatives. • Ying Huang, Two Year VP, MBA10

  10. Core Values Committee Representative • The Core Values Committee works to promote the 7 core values throughout GBS. The one-year representative shall be elected by the one-year class over the summer, and shall serve as a member of the Committee for the entire year. • Brian Claveria, President, MBA10

  11. Student Activities Representative • The Student Activities Representative will be an important part of setting the GBA calendar of events for MBAs. This student works directly with the Vice President of Student Activities on events to help integrate the one-year and two-year classes, and all other MBA student events held during the school year.   12. Honor Council Representative • The Honor Council is an organization that increases awareness of the importance of academic integrity. They are also charged with administering the Honor Code, investigating suspected violations and serving as judicial body for honor Code hearings.
