  • Contracts:

    positive and negative

Goal is to stay off the chart.

I will inform you if your child receives 2 checks in the same day.

3 checks in one day will result in demerits and a trip to Mr. Washburn

INCENTIVES

  • Incentives will primarily be handled on an individual basis and through the “team system.”

  • Rewards will be individual and team focused.

DEMERITS

  • Demerits are occasionally necessary for repeated behavior issues.

  • These are issued by Mr. Washburn when it becomes necessary to include him in the discipline procedure.

CONCLUSION

  • I look forward to a successful 5th grade year.

  • The key to success is working with me at all times and communicating concerns early.

  • My after school classroom hours are usually 3:30-5:00.

  • If an appointment is needed, it can be made through the school office or directly with me.

  • PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DISCUSS A CONCERN IN THE MORNING WHILE I AM PREPARING FOR OUR DAY.

  • Once students are entering the classroom, I am AT WORK and that is not a good time to chat with me about situations that arise.

  • Thank you for your help

  • Please pray for me daily.

HOW TO PRAY

  • 1) pray that God will give me wisdom and strength for each situation that comes up throughout the day.

  • 2) pray that God would enable me to meet the individual needs of each student on a daily basis as this is my heart’s desire.
