  3. Export to make this permanent for each layer. See here how trend 00 – 03 has fewer points then the original NoZeroSplineSp layer has. So all “0” values are removed. The original layer, NoZeroSplineSP still has all the data but in each exported layer, the data which did not fit the definition is no longer there.

  4. SPLINE and Mask I set mask to the shapefilePRCoast and should not see this color outside. Seems to ignore “mask” for the spline command, a bug I think. Extent was set to PRCoast in the environment settings and that worked, the output is larger than the point data

  5. Next –extract by mask Last step: I set the “extract by mask” command to use the PRCoastshapefile as mask and that worked
