  29. How do these images make you feel? What words describe your feelings? What shape, colour, form do your feelings have?

  30. Create a visual image that illuminates your response to the images and issue of bullying. You may take any position you want. You may choose to create an abstract, realistic or mixed image. Your message should be clear to any viewer – no words though! When you are finished write a short artists statement explaining your message and how you tried to convey it through your image.

  33. Consider how the materials you choose will impact the effectiveness of your message. Crayons Markers Charcoal Pencils Collage etc

  34. Create a visual image that illuminates your response to the images and issue of bullying. You may take any position you want. You may choose to create an abstract, realistic or mixed image. Your message should be clear to any viewer – no words though! When you are finished write a short artists statement explaining your message and how you tried to convey it through your image.

  35. Choose one image to assess. You need to consider how effective the artist was at using the required elements and principle of design. Then consider the stated expectations – reference the Achievement Chart. What level would you assign? Can you justify your decision?

  36. Take a look at the grade 6 curriculum. Which other expectations have we explored today?
