  2. Periodic Table • Chromium is Number 24 on the periodic table

  3. Classification • Chromium is a Transition Metal These metals have a high melting and boiling point. They also are good conductors of heat and electricity.

  4. Discovery • Nicolas Louis Vanquelin discovered it in Siberian Red Led or Crocoite in 1797.

  5. Chromium • The word chromium comes from the Greek word for colour, Chroma. • Melting Point: 1907 Degrees C • Boiling Point : 2671 Degrees C • Element Class.: Metal • It can be shiny if polished a lot.

  6. Chromium Cost • Pure : $ 32 per 100g • Impure : $ 0.28 per 100g

  7. Uses • Coating Cars for scratch and scrape resistant paint. • Shiny effect on Cars (When polished)

  8. Natural Chromium • Traces of oxidized Chromium are Found in Rubies and Emeralds.
