  2. Mage postdoc research plans and activities Objectives: Investigate the "watery" history of Mars chronology of events past Martian climate volcanic activity and its connection to outflow events, surface/subsurface water

  3. Data processing and analysis: Processing of HRSC data; preparation of level 3 and level 4 image products (colour-orthoimages, DTMs) Quantitative and qualitative analysis of processed data focus on: - Valles Marineris - Outflow channels, chaotic terrain - channeled networks Geologic/morphologic mapping including Mars Global Surveyor and Mars Odyssey images/data Geometric analysis: profiles, volumes etc.
