  1. Eco Friendly Toilet Paper Eco Friendly Toilet Paper When you think of toilet paper, you probably picture something soft and absorbent that’s easy on your behind. Traditionally, many major brands of toilet paper are made from virgin pulp from trees harvested in boreal forests. These forests are vital in the fight against climate change, and using eco friendly toilet paper can help reduce your family’s environmental impact. There are a growing number of options available for eco-friendly toilet paper. Some use bamboo fibers, which are incredibly sustainable, while others offer recycled paper and biodegradable products. Many of these companies also contribute a portion of their profits to environmental preservation initiatives, appealing to socially conscious consumers. One of the best options is the aptly named Cloud Paper. They make a premium 3-ply version that’s soft, strong, and has good absorbency. They also offer a basic 2-ply option that’s also good. Their toilet paper is free from dyes, inks, BPA, and plastic, and they deliver it to your door in eco-friendly packaging. Another good option is Seventh Generation’s tp. Their toilet paper is made from 100% recycled materials and is free of chemicals, inks, and dyes. It’s also biodegradable and septic safe. Their product isn’t as absorbent as some other options, but it is a great alternative to the standard brand you might be used to. Other options for eco friendly toilet paper include the bamboo-based HWRco. They make a soft 3-ply roll that’s extra gentle on your behind. It’s hypoallergenic and comes in a variety of minimal colorways to fit any bathroom style. They also provide a customizable subscription so you never run out. While it might seem counterintuitive to switch to a more environmentally-friendly brand of toilet paper, you’re actually saving a lot of trees with this choice. The average American uses 57 squares of toilet paper daily, and the majority of that is single-ply. That’s a lot of cutting down trees. If every household switched to an eco-friendly brand, 9.45 million trees could be saved annually! If you want to take it a step further, consider installing a bidet in your bathroom. This toilet attachment will save you a ton of toilet paper and reduce the amount of leftover bacterial residue that can lead to UTIs. While the NRDC’s score isn’t high, this company does have some unique products that can be helpful for the environment. Their toilet paper is made from reclaimed materials and is biodegradable. It’s also septic safe and free of dyes, inks, and plastic. They also have a partnership with Tree Aid and donate a portion of their proceeds to
