  1. DOSAR Workshop IV: Welcome, Goals, & Organization Welcome to Springtime in Iowa! (it was in the 70s last week) Most important item – to connect to wireless: open web browser, will see netreg login username: jimc pwd: ****** (see board) reboot reminder: upload pwd is “isu07” Lunch options for today: we can walk to campus town (15 min) – several restaurants there or several cafés a bit closer or Food Court in Memorial Union (lots of students) Dinner tonight is at Café Shi – I’ll try to get a final head count by 3 or 4 pm Will need a car to get there. I’ll print some maps before we leave.

  2. Workshop Organization • Grid Software Development Efforts • Outside Activities • lunch • OSG on Windows • Site Reports • dinner at Café Shi • Statewide Grid Initiatives • Future Goals

  3. Workshop Goals – a partial and biased list Finalize (multi-stage ?) plan to incorporate Windows machines into DOSAR/OSG (whitepaper) MultiState (MultiCountry ?, MultiContinent ?) grid effort – should we (can we ?) develop a recipe that would make it easy(easier?) to bring small sites onto OSG ? Not exactly on the agenda, but hopefully to be discussed: How to obtain funding ? Perhaps an MRI-like proposal from several of us ? Wrt USATLAS, should we attempt to proactively define a “tier-3 production site” ?
