  3. What do I do if I can’t get my locker open? Oh, man, I don’t want to be late for class! Help! What do I do if I can’t get my locker open?

  9. Do.. Keep it organized Keep it Clean Don’t… Keep trash in it Keep your wet bathing suit and towel in it overnight Keep food or drinks overnight Rig the lock

  10. Locker shelves are very helpful in keeping your locker neat and organized.

  29. When you are absent: A parent should notify the office by 9:00 AM and pick up work between 2:00 and 4:00 The day you return, bring an excuse to the office and ask all your teachers for missed work

  30. Do I have to take swimming?

  31. YES! Unless you have a medical excuse Make up ALL missed classes

  32. What do I need for gym class?

  33. Shorts Tee shirt Sneakers Be prepared to go outside, weather permitting After gym class it is suggested you take a shower You will have a gym locker with a lock on it to keep your gym clothes in Make up all missed classes

  43. bullying • Bullying is an act of repeated aggressive behavior in order to intentionally hurt another person, physically or mentally. • Behaviors may include name calling, verbal or written abuse, exclusion from activities, exclusion from social situations, physical abuse, or coercion.

Bullying • When confronted by a bully: • There is power in Numbers! • Ask the bully to stop when surrounded by friends • Distract the bully • Ex: “Hey jon, we’re going to be late to class.” • Be confident, assertive, and stay calm • Tell the bully to “stop it!”, “Leave me alone!”, “whatever!”
