First Cup Site Creator: How to add files for Download • Before you begin, Save your file that you want to post as an upload in a place that is easy to get at in your file system • The right format and file type! • The right Size • Files over 2MB are too big. Need to Compress as a ZIP or Better yet, divide it up into a series of smaller files • Where to put it? This can work well: • Desktop> My Web Site Folder > Today’s Date • Or – put it on a thumb drive / USB drive

  3. OK – I’m Ready: • My file is in the format I want to post. • My file is not too big. • My file is saved with a unique name in a place I can easily browse to on my computer

  4. First method: Add a FILE AREA • Step 1: Login to Site Admin Area • Step 2: Go to upper LEFT Corner • Step 3: Select Add File Area from long menu • Do NOT select “Add Text and Image” near the top of menu – go down more! • You may need to select See More • Look at the Picture! (next Slide please)
