  2. Why is sin a problem? Sin is contrary to God. Sin brings death. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

  3. Why is sin a problem? Sin separates man from God. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear. Isaiah 59:2

  4. Thoughts to Consider Sin is man’s universal problem Sin is man’s personal problem It is because of sin that Christ came into the world and died on the cross. Christ is the answer!

  23. Satan fought Christ in His mission to save the world. Satan desires for man to live as man desires and not as God desires. Man lives as he desires = eternal punishment Man lives as God desires = eternal life

  24. Man lives as he desires But it will not be well with the wicked; nor will he prolong his days, which are as a shadow, because he does not fear before God. Ecclesiastes 8:13

  27. Christ is the answer - Savior Rescuer – from the sting of death Redeemer – paid the price for our sins Deliverer – brought us near to God Protector – secures our souls in eternal life
