  1. Creating Characters In Photoshop

  2. Getting Started You can create any kind of character in Photoshop, you just need to focus on what you want, to get started. Do you want your character to be cute, monstrous, rugged, sensitive, etc. Its up to you what your character will look like.

  3. Simple Creations • We are going to make a character by combining two pictures, this is a simple and easy process.

  4. First • Copy the picture you wish to use and open up a blank document, then paste them to that blank page. Once you have all your pictures opened in Photoshop then we can truly begin.

  5. Second • Next select the part you wish to combine to your other picture. For example, I am combining a cat with a person to create my character, so I’m going to select the cat’s ears and attach them to the person.

  6. Third • Once you got what you want selected then drag and drop the selected item to the other picture. It should appear in another layer on the picture you dragged the selected item on.

  7. Fourth • Once you have the selected image on your other picture you can now use various tools available to make it look as real as possible. Use the dodge, blur, sharpen, smudge, burn, and sponge tool to adjust the texture.

  8. Finally • Now that you have made your image of your character look good, you can finally use your created character however you like. Try this with any images or photos and see what you can create.
