  2. The Giant Panda!Their appearance! They are black and white bears with round heads, small black ears and white faces. The giant panda has a black patch around the eyes. They also have short tails. An adult giant panda is about 150 centimetres long and weighs about 90 kilograms, the biggest weighing ever is 180 kilograms.

  3. The Giant Panda!Where are they found! Giant Panda’s are found in China. They live in bamboo forests in Western China. The forests are very thick. They can’t be in Eastern China because the bamboo have been cut down for farming.

  4. The Giant Panda!Their feeding! 99% of the Giant Panda’s food is bamboo, it also eats grass, roots, plants and even meat. Actually bamboo is a type of grass that grows as tall as trees. There are many types of bamboo, the giant panda eats 4 or 5 kinds. Most of their time is eating bamboo.

  5. The Giant Panda!Their life cycle! Baby pandas are very small when they are just born, they weigh almost 120 grams. The baby panda’s mother holds the little panda in a similar way the human, putting the baby panda in the mother’s arms. The little baby panda only opens it’s eyes 40days later.

  6. The Giant panda!Their threat! The Giant Panda’s threat is their habitat. They chop off the bamboo for farming and buildings.
