  3. Once a chapter is selected, How Do We Start an Event? • It all starts in the office • Identify the event theme • Choose a date • Coordinate with event • personnel from • beginning to end with • NSSD administrators • NASA • AHETHEMS • UTB/TSC • University staff • Volunteers

  4. Preparing for the Event (con’t.) • Reserve facilities • Call school districts • Identify schools • Identify representative / sponsor/ • and school administrator • Set up Mentor & Teacher Workshops • Coordinate NASA site visit • Coordinate the NSSD event
