Northstar Family Support ProjectUnit 11c, Watch House Cross, Moyross, Limerick • Community-based project providing support to families of people suffering the effects of substance misuse • Provides non-judgemental support • through a process of self-empowerment and on-going coping skills ie. Novas Respite HouseNewport, Co Tipperary • A safe space for families, without the substance misuser, giving them time to reflect & to nurture their own needs • Day, overnight & weekend respite available • Family sized house with a large garden • Children welcome & family fun activities organised: county walks horse riding, swimming • Enables families to develop new coping skills, gain insights into their situation and implement harm reduction strategies in their lives. • Alternative therapies available on site to support relaxation /stress reduction  061 624878 www.novas.ie
