Strengths ▲ • A strong and original narrative and visual universe • The two auteurs are well-known in the world of animation as well as in thriller litterature • Very few young public oriented animated features deal with a thriller universe • Attractive french voice casting : Dominique Blanc, Bruno Salomone, Jean Benguigui, Bernadette Lafont • Already on the web via Facebook http://www.facebook.com/pages/Une-Vie-de-chat/110858428933459 And on Folimage’s blog http://folimage.over-blog.com/categorie-10935730.html

  3. Weaknesses ▼ • A very competitive period with movies such as: Harry Potter,Megamind,Chimpanzés2 or Narnia 3: all of them in 3D ! But there will be also 2D movies: Le Marchand de sable or L’Apprenti du père Noël ! • Non realistic original drawing can be a brake.

  4. Website with the CRDP of Lyon(Regional Centre of Educational Documentation) • The movie Excerpts & trailer + usual downloads (Press-Book, pictures…) • The visual universe Working documents (storyboard, decors, characters...) • Sound universe Video modules of the actors’ recordings, sound effects, music... • Educational documents to download For secondary school (11-12 years old kids) mainly in French, cinema, fine-arts and for younger kids, documents for artistical education and image education purpose.

  5. Work with the AFCAE (French association of art-house theaters) started in November 2009 • The 20 first minutes of the movie where shown during AFCAE’s Young Public national meeting which gathered 250 professionals in Valence. • Folimage sent a flip-book as wish card presenting the movie to all the art-house theaters • The film as the be positionned in the booker’s mind as soon as possible as THE ONLY movie adapted to schools’ screenings in December 2011.

  6. Work with the AFCAE • A game was organized to permit the professionals who attended to give their opinion on the 3 different posters proposed… In the end, something different was chosen!!

  7. Festivals – Previews • Annecy 2010 : conference of the 2 directors • Many previews during the early november holidays : Ciné-jeunes Festival in the Aisne, national animation day (october), Mon 1er festival à Paris, Toiles des gônes in the region of lyon…

  8. Pre-release of the movie in the department of the Drôme (26) ► By Folimage (on site exposition, meetings, promoting the film’s universe in the city…) ► By the Conseil général of the Drôme and the municipalities of Valence and Bourg les V. ► By a local radio partner France Bleu ► In the movie theaters (approximately 20) as well of on the « Ecrans de la Drôme » (regional association)

  9. 1st elements on the French release – Christmas 2010 • Target: children - famillies • Around150 copies • The movie will be positionned as « the other christmas feature » • Partners already found and involved : AFCAE, CRDP Lyon, Radio France bleu, Milan Jeunesse, Région Rhône Alpes…
