  3. Election of Officers • Ayman Nabulsi, Bill Gibson, and Demah Payne are up for re-election • Nominations from the floor?

  4. Old Business “1-2-3” strike policy was added to our STANDING RULES for late officials. This was approved in January of 2013 • 1st offense: Written warning from Regional Supervisor • 2nd offense: Next 2 assignments taken away • 3rd offense: Done for the remainder of the season. May apply for re-instatement at the beginning of the next season

  5. New Business • Motion: The Disciplinary Committee will be the Executive Board • Discussion?

  7. 2012 Points of Emphasis Professionalism • New Policy enacted in January • 6 games out of 2167 where referees had unexcused lateness reported • 2 games where an official did not show • 2 referees had their next 2 assignments taken away • 1 referee suspended for the remainder of the spring season and for the fall season

  15. 2013 Points of Emphasis Take Care of Business in August Player/Coach Decorum-Any loud outbursts by coaches and players can’t be ignored *Be very hard in scrimmages on correcting behavior **HOWEVER, don’t be like the ref in US game who let the US get beat up and then Jurgen gets tossed!!!!!

Dates To Mark on Your Calendar • August 10-Scrimmage Jamborees at Northern Durham, Heritage, and WRAL (104 referee slots needed) • August 19-23: On-Line Testing Window • Friday and Saturday September 6-7: NCSCA Coaches Kick-Off Classic at Wake Med. Park (41 games over 2 days) • Saturday November 2, 2013: NCHSAA 2nd Round of Playoffs

  20. Dates To Mark on Your Calendar Friday December 5 or Saturday December 6: End of Season Party in conjunction with the NCAA Women’s Final 4 Saturday January 25 or Sunday January 26: Spring Clinic at Downtown Raleigh Hilton done in Conjunction with the NCYSA Show

  21. In Closing • We made great strides in 2012-13 • However, there is room for improvement in 2013-14 • Last year’s focus was Professionalism • Let’s not forget what was preached last year • Work this year on………. GAME MANAGEMENT
