The Coordinator will have to prepare the comprehensive report within April 30, 2014.

MANAGEMENT OR RTD • Scientific coordination of the project cannot be charged under "other activities" (they are not management). Costs related to project meetings (kick-off, periodic, final) should in principle be charged under RTD activities, since they are deemed to address scientific/research aspects of the project. • For Management costs see Financial guide Pag. 11, 78-79

Rome 8-9-10-July REMARKS TO THE FIRST REPORTING PERIOD – General questions • MANAGEMENT: General criteria The expenses can never include what is commonly known as «scientific coordination…from Guidelines version 28/02/2011, » Examples, IT IS EXCLUDED: • costs related to project meetings such as: kick off, periodic and final meetings • Preparing executing and post-processing of major project meetings as steering committee meetings, general assemblies and meetings with the Advisory Board (art. II.16, of ECGA – para 4

Rome 8-9-10-July European Commission’s remarks to the first reporting periodManagement/RTD activities • About management some inconsistencies between CLIM-RUNDow (wp10) and the EC FP7 general rules exist. The question is: do we want to enter in endless controversy or just accept the new general rules?

  13. CLIMRUN Meeting. Rome 8-9-10-July SME’s owner: the case of TEC • Lump sum: the option between lump sum or flat rate can be made (and changed) up to the moment of the signature of the GA. It is not possible to change this decision. • The decision made by TEC on the GA was the flat rate. The calculation method of the flat rate for owner is described in the guidelines.
