Top of the Bay Renovation • Total renovation; Cost: $3.4M • New HVAC system; new carpets/wall coverings; upgrade lighting; bar improvements • Kitchen w/all new equipment; foyer; new audio/ visual system; new elevator (basement to 2nd flr) • Facility Capacity: 540 • Main Ball Room (310 capacity) • Gunpowder Room (50 capacity) • Old Baltimore Room (30 capacity) • Chesapeake Mezzanine (120 capacity) • Regimental Room (30 capacity) • Completion scheduled for Oct 11 (originally May 11)

  3. Replace the Ordnance Museum (moving to Ft. Lee) • Retain some artifacts from Ordnance Museum • Expand the storyline to tell the history of APG • Include the Communications Electronics Exhibit moving from Ft. Monmouth • Tell the story of our Tenant Organizations and their impact on National Defense • Open October 2012 to coincide with APG's 95th anniversary APG Museum Be an outstanding public museum that illustrates the history of the site, the Army’s research, development, testing, and training missions at APG/Edgewood since 1917; serve as a valuable training and cultural resource for the military and civilian communities.
