  6. Prepare well thought-through questions • Following diagnosis • Before biopsy • Choosing the right treatment • Options • Side effects and follow up • Recovering and rehabilitation • Advanced cancer

Get involved • Talk to other patients • Participate in support groups and collectively gain confidence of medical professionals • Stay up to date with new qualified information • Make contact with helpful organizations ie The Prostate Net, USTOO, PCFA etc • Talk to your family, friends and colleagues • Spread the word
