Important Dates • August 21st & 26th: Volunteer Training -5:30-6:30pm, HPER 311 & 4-5pm, HPER 318 • November 1st-20th: Food Drive • January 13th: Officer Training -2-3:30pm, HPER 311 • January 23rd: Club Sports Fair - 11am-2pm, Union Connection Lounge • March 4th-25th: Clothing Drive • March 12th– 13th: Blood Drive • April 25th: Club Sports Banquet - 5:30pm, Alumni House

  9. Waivers & eligibility • EVERY participant must complete a waiver BEFORE anyone participates. • University IDs must be carried at ALL times • Will be checked at practices • Club Sports Eligibility • Intramural Sports Eligibility

  10. Officers & Constitutions • Minimum of three (3) officers per club • Must keep a minimum GPA of 2.25 • Must remain absent from academic or disciplinary probation • May not be an officer for another club sport • New officer contact info due Dead Day of Spring Semester • Update Club Constitution every year • Example found on website • Submitted Dead Day of Spring Semester

  11. Club Meetings • Clubs must meet with Shannon/Mike twice a semester • 30 minute meeting with at least one (1) officer • Email reminder to sign up will be sent by Shannon • Clubs must hold a minimum of two (2) club meetings per semester with their teams • Inform Admin. Of meeting one (1) prior to meeting. • Meeting minutes due within one (1) week of meeting.

  12. Leadership Trainings • Offered twice per semester on various topics • Any member can attend and receive Razorback Points • Potential topics to be decided but may include: • Time management • Communication • Attitude • Management principles • If you have suggestions, please e-mail Sclubs@uark.edu

  13. Volunteers • Roles of an advisor/coach • Definition of “Coach” • Coach/Volunteer Application & Agreement • Volunteer Training • Tuesday, August 21: 5:30-6:30pm HPER 311 • Sunday, August 26: 4-5pm HPER 318

  14. Drivers Training • Any member who wants to drive on a trip must complete Driver Training • Only complete once • Training dates: (Check schedule for room location) - Sunday, August 19: 5pm-5:30pm - Tuesday, August 21: 6:30pm-7pm - Thursday, August 23: 5pm-5:30pm/8:30pm-9pm - Sunday, September 30: 6:30pm-7pm - Sunday, December 2: 6:30pm-7pm - Sunday, January 13: 1:30pm-2pm • If any member does not make any of these trainings they will not be permitted to drive on a trip.

  15. Facility Reservations • Complete FACILITY RESERVATION form • Must be completed 7 days prior to event • Complete fully (as much detail as possible) • Most reservations are free of any fee. • When complete, submit form to the UREC main office (HPER225)
