  1. Goa beaches seducing you with the beauty • Goa is the smallest state in India with Panaji as the serving capital. This is one of most visited places in India by the foreign tourists. This is a very charming place for tourists looking for leisure. This place is also of historic importance because the Portuguese have settled here are they spread theirculture and architecture among Indian people. The wide streets of Goa are lined with majestic mansions and churches. The forests in Goa are often compared to the forests of Congo or Amazon. The forests showcase exquisite wild life. But Goa is famous for its beautiful and vibrant beaches. It has got some of the best beaches in India. The Portuguese traders used to call Goa as Golden Goa, the El Dorado and also The Rome of the East. Goa emphasizes such beauty that made them give these names to Goa. Goa is the most famous and celebrated city in India. Goa has the highest per capita income in the whole country and also the citizens are well literate. Apart from beaches Goa is also rich in paddy fields and lush coconut plantations. The Colva beach here is famous for its white sandy beaches and you can also enjoy a trip to the local forests and see elephants. • Old Goa is now also called as Goa Velha and is at a short distance from Panaji and Margao. Old Goa served as the center of Goa for many centauries and was one of the wealthiest cities in the world. Other places to see in Goa are Vagetor, Calangute, and Baga.
