  2. Background Info • Home Planet: Mandalore • Species: Varies. Can be any of the known species of the Star Wars galaxy. • Harbor an extreme dislike of Jedi and Sith for reasons I will later explain. • Capital City: Keldabe

  3. Culture • Mandalorians are warriors known for being strong and dangerous. • They have many weapons many of which are made of beskar, the Mandalorian iron. • Mandalorians can always be seen wearing their beskar’gam, or literally iron skin. This is their armor.

  4. Beskar • Beskar is a type of metal found only on Mandalore. • Beskaris the strongest metal in the Star wars universe next to cortosis. • It is impervious to blaster bolts and even a lightsaber blade.

  5. Mandalorian Armor • Mandalorians are known for their high-tech armor. • Most suits are equipped with lots of weapons. Ex, flamethrower, darts, rockets, grenades, grappling lines etc. • The color of a Mandalorians armor represents something. Ex, black armor represents justice.

  7. Great Sith War • During the Sith War the Mandalorians joined the side of the Sith. • The Sith lose this war against the Republic and the Mandalorians culture and peoples are all but destroyed. • They become traveling mercenaries after the war and now harbor an extreme hatred of the Jedi.

  8. Mandalorian Civil War • Sometime before the Clone Wars the Mandalorians split into two groups. The True Mandalorians led by Jaster Mereel and Death Watch led by Viszla. • When Mereel dies Jango Fett takes his place. He leads his forces into an ambush at Galidraan. His forces are wiped out but he survives to kill half the Jedi Council before he escapes.

Yuuzhan Vong War • During the Vong invasion of the galaxy Boba Fett is the Manda’loror leader of the Mandos. • He fights against the vongese as they are called in the Mando language. • The Vong hit back hard killing over a third of the Mando population. • Oddly they inadvertently open up a new mine of beskar.

  14. The Planet Mandalore A barren planet that consists of few cities aside from the capital. Most Mandos live as farmers in the outskirts of major settlement areas.
