Animal’s relatives&Physical characteristics • Their related to the squirrel & long- tailed chinchilla. • Large round ears help the chinchilla to hear even the very soft sounds well. • Their sharp teeth are able to shear through any vegetation. • Their able to scurry very to hide away from predators.

  4. Biome& Habitat • The chinchilla lives in the cold mountainous region. They have fur that alows them to survive at the altitudes of up to 16,400 ft ( 5,000m). They live in small crevices in rocks.
