  • Stimulate dialogue about the overall role of philanthropy in protecting the ACA

  • Strategize how to reinvigorate the philanthropic response to health advocacy. 

  • Address the role of collaboration within supporting reform-related advocacy

  • Highlight the connections between the HIV/AIDS field and health philanthropy

  • At the conclusion of the session, we hope that the audience of health grantmakers will be able to:

    • Reflect on how their philanthropic investments in community-based advocacy

    • Employ the discussed strategies and techniques to strengthen ongoing advocacy-related programs at their organizations, or to initiate new programming
