Goals • Safety: Provide the safest transportation system in the nation for users and workers. • Mobility: Maximize transportation system performance and accessibility. • Delivery: Efficiently deliver quality transportation projects and services. • Stewardship: Preserve and enhance California’s resources and assets. • Service: Promote quality service through an excellent workforce.

  4. Safety -Provide the safest transportation system in the nation for users and workers. • Traveler Safety – Fatalities per 100 Million Vehicle Miles Traveled (MVMT) on the California state highway system.

  5. Mobility Goal – Maximize transportation system performance and accessibility. • Statewide daily vehicle hours of delay (DVHD).

  6. Delivery Goal – Efficiently deliver quality transportation projects and services. • Percent delivery of planned Ready To List (RTL) milestone for programmed capital projects.

  7. Stewardship Goal – Preserve and enhance California's resources and assets. • Pavement Condition – Percent of distressed lane miles.
