  1. Classroom Management & Technology Integration A reflection by Jenn Chick

  2. Resources • We have been giving so many tools in this class to help further my understanding of technology and management. These are the most memorable.

  3. Projects • Every project we’ve done for this class has taught me so much about technology! I feel like the programs I’ve used and learned about will always be connected to how I see education from now on. I loved working with all the people I did, and most of all I enjoyed the enthusiasm that came from all of the projects when we presented them with the class.

  4. Technology • I’m not really sure how I could have learned more about technology this semester. There was so much of it crammed into this portion of the class that it seemed like I was living in the stone ages before.

  5. Blog Entries • I felt like blog entries were a huge part of this class, and I liked how much freedom we had with this blog. I felt like I had many opportunities to add my own ideas and opinions in this blog, and that really helped my learning and processing.

  6. Classroom Management Presentation • Because this was the longest project that we worked on in this class, I definitely learned a lot from it. I loved working with my peers to develop our ideas for a text book, research a piece of them, and then make a presentation to show the rest of the class what we learned. It really helped me understand management techniques I plan to use in my classroom, including the ones that I didn’t research.

  7. Webquest • Learning how to make a WebQuest was probably my favorite project that I did in this class. I felt like it was the most useful tool we used, and it was so easy that I felt even I could use it well.

  8. Student Sample • Although I really enjoyed making the WebQuest, my student sample was the piece of work that I was the most proud of this semester. It was nice to learn how to use Glogster and feel like this technology was something that anyone could use in their classroom.

  9. Outside Presentations • There are many things that I think added to this semester that go beyond the classroom. I think the best example of that is the Diversity Conference. But recently we were showed another resource that helps us stand up against bullying. There are so many people trying to help build awareness that it gives me confidence and faith for the future.

  10. Therapy • Although this is more part of Beth’s class than this one, I think I learned a lot about emotional intelligence in here. We went through some pretty rough days together, and, as least for me, they always seemed to land on days that we had this class. This has only increased my understanding of Teacher EQ and I appreciated having my block there when things were bad.

  11. Family • I feel like in every class Block One has grown together, but in this class we expressed how similarly we think a lot. It really helped in getting through this whole semester.
