  2. Recap of 2012-13 • State participated in Alternate ACCESS for the first time. • Participated in online data validation. • 187 districts and 2,363 schools tested. • Reports shipped on time.

  3. Recap of 2012-13 • 108,722 tests ordered. • 97,336 students tested. • 89.53% of materials used to test students. • 138 alternate tests administered.

  4. Consortium Recap • 30 states participated. • 37,280 boxes containing 2 million test books shipped to states. • MetriTech processed 1,165,725 test books • NC is third largest participating state.

  5. Important Dates • Ordering file to MetriTech on December 4, 2013 • All updates to CFDC by this date • Materials will be in LEA by January 27, 2014

  6. Important Dates • Testing Window: February 3–March 14, 2014 • Materials shipped back to MetriTech by March 21, 2014 • Data Validation Window: April 23–May 3, 2014

  7. Important Dates • Reports will be delivered to LEAs by May 23, 2014 • Final Data from MetriTech to NCDPI on June 20, 2014 • Any corrections to MetriTech between these two dates

  8. Additional Test Materials • More tier A and tier C test books in overage • Additional materials requests will not require approval by me (small orders). • Large print requests will go directly to MetriTech.

  10. OTISS vs. RCR • When should an ACCESS or W-APT testing irregularity be reported in OTISS? • Anytime one occurs. • RCR should be made when irregularity occurs due to incorrect data in CFDC.

  11. Irregularity Types • Which irregularity types necessitate a Record Change Request (RCR)? • Student not required to take test • Failure to test eligible students

  12. Transfer Students • Download Student Transfer form from Metritech.com • Sending and receiving LEAs must both fill out form • Ensures combining of scores and correct recipient of score report
