  3. Executive Summary • The Office of University Outreach at Ohio University understands the exciting and valuable opportunity that Good Health Medical Center has been given by John Goodheart. The $10 million dollar endowment can help drive the future growth and success of Good Health Medical Center. This endowment can not be realized without a partnership with a university in Ohio. • Ohio University has the resources to help Good Health Medical Center continue to provide the best medical care to the people of Lancaster. At the Office of University Outreach, we specialize in creating symbiotic relationships. The Office of University Outreach has formed 100+ successful partnerships with a diverse range of partners. We feel that Ohio University’s goals aligns well with the objectives Good Health Medical Center hopes to fulfill in this partnership. Within our proposal you will find: • An opportunity analysis for GHMC • GHMC needs and our proposed solution • What makes Ohio University the best partner • Our implementation plan for the one-year timeframe • It is clear that this is a special and unique opportunity for Good Health Medical Center. Ohio University offers several medical programs that graduate exceptional health care professionals. Ohio has both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs, as well as an Osteopathic medicine program that earns graduates a D.O. Students from these diverse, programs are looking for real world internships that provide them with great experience while also help them meet their graduation requirements, every year.
