  3. Hampden stadium • Hamden stadium is Scotland’s national stadium. Ranked as one of the greatest football stadiums in the world. Hampden Park regularly hosts the semi-finals and finals of major cup competitions, as well as other sporting events.

  4. Basket ball arena • The new Basketball Arena is one of the largest temporary venues ever built for some Games. The basketball arena will be one of the most heavily-used arenas. Competitions and events will be taking place almost every day with different people all over the world.

  6. During London 2012, the north Greenwich arena will host Artistic and Tramlining, Gymnastics, as well as some matches in the Basketball and Wheelchair Basketball competitions. North greenwich arena

  7. Wembley arena • Wembley arena holds badminton, gymnastic and tennis and lots more. In recent years, it has hosted snooker, darts, hockey and wrestling events.

  8. excel • Excel is the largest competition venue at the London 2012 Games. • it is made up of different five arenas, each of which will host a different sport at London 2012.
