  2. 18 “knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, • but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” • 20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you • 21 who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.":3 He answered and said to them, "Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? Mt 15:6 ‘then he need not honor his father or mother.’ Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by yourtradition. Mr 7:8 "For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men——the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do 7:9 He said to them, "All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition. Mr 7:13 "making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do.“ Col 2:8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.

  22. Ge 22:8 And Abraham said, "My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering." So the two of them went together.

  35. Le 4:35 ‘He shall remove all its fat, as the fat of the lamb is removed from the sacrifice of the peace offering. Then the priest shall burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire to the LORD. So the priest shall make atonement for his sin that he has committed, and it shall be forgiven him.

  36. Le 5:6 ‘and he shall bring his trespass offering to the LORD for his sin which he has committed, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats as a sin offering. So the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin. Nu 6:12 ‘He shall consecrate to the LORD the days of his separation, and bring a male lamb in its first year as a trespass offering; but the former days shall be lost, because hisseparation was defiled.

Then Samuel cried out to the LORD for Israel, and the LORD answered him.

  40. Israel sought redemption from their enemies by the blood of the Lamb.
