First Task Letter Merge (1st Step) • Conversion from spreadsheet to database • Changing the field names in to more meaningful names (nearly 2 weeks)  OO Base MS Excel

First Task Letter Merge (2nd Step) • Learning mail merge task with a sample mail list • Designing the Student Information Report • Fetching data from Base document (Nearly 3 weeks)  OO Base OO Writer

Second Task Creating Query (1st Step) • Writing query for 7x3 classes

Second Task Creating Query (1st Step Cont.) • Writing query for 7x3 classes

Second Task Creating Report (2nd Step) • Learning report task with a small query • Designing the Class Information Report for 3x7 classes(1 weeks)

Difficulties Faced • Arranging the meetings was difficult. • Dan Keller was busy most of the times. • Connection with Dan Keller was difficult. • Little misunderstandings about tasks. • Unstability of Open Office. • Lack of Open Office maintenance.

Comments & Contributions • Project enviroment was relaxing and it was enjoyable for us. • Working with an ‘’important’’ person was stressful but beneficial for future referance. • Satisfaction of doing something beneficial to a great school. • Learned a lot about Open Office and it’s features. • We always had encouraging feedback from our supervisors. • Dan Keller was a great person and was motivating and helping us always.
