USER MANUAL – Track Order Introduction The “Track Order” extension when installed on your store will allow customers to trace the status of the order placed and access the shipment tracking link. Benefits of Track Order • The store will have an extra feature of order tracking as compared to competitors. • Higher customer satisfaction rate. • Customers can easily know the status of their order without logging into their account. • No need to search in the shipment carriers’ website to track their order. • They can view the shipment tracking link in “Track Order” page or in the email sent to them. www.appjetty.com 1

USER MANUAL – Track Order Installation Installation Steps Manual Installation (Installing Magento 2 extension by copying code) Step 1: For Windows OS: • Go to <your Magento install dir>/app/code. Under that, create the folders using following hierarchy: o Biztech o TrackOrder For Linux OS: • Enter the following commands keeping their order: cd <your Magento install dir>/app/code mkdir -p Biztech/TrackOrder • After this, find the Download Zip and extract all files and folders in Biztech/ TrackOrder. Step 2: • After the successful installation you have to run the command on Magento2 root directory-“php bin/magento setup:upgrade”. • If you see blank page or permission error, go to Terminal (Linux)/ Command Prompt (Windows). cd [magento root directory][var] run the following command $ chmod –R 777 * Step 3: • After running the command, log into the admin panel and clear the Cache. Go to SYSTEM →Tools (section) → CACHE MANAGEMENT to clear the cache. www.appjetty.com 2

  5. USER MANUAL – Track Order Installation via Composer Step 1: • Install composer from this link. If you already installed composer, skip this step. Step 2: • Go to app → Code →Biztech → TrackOrder, right click on composer.json and select use composer here. Step 3: • - After that you can see command prompt where you have to run the following command: composer update www.appjetty.com 4

  6. USER MANUAL – Track Order Step 4: • Now go to [magento root directory] and right click on use Composer here. Step 5: • You can see the cmd window and run the following command here: - php bin/magento setup:upgrade Step 6: • After running the command, log into the admin panel and clear the Cache. Go to SYSTEM →Tools (section) → CACHE MANAGEMENT to clear the cache. Step 7: • After successful installation, you can see the “Australia Post Shipping” under BIZTECH tab inside STORES → CONFIGURATION. The installation is successful!   7. USER MANUAL – Track Order Extension Activation Step 1:Copy an activation key • Copy the activation key from the Order Confirmation Mail. OR • Log into your account atwww.appjetty.com using the email and password you have provided at checkout process. • Go to Downloadable Options and copy the activation key for the Track Order extension. Step 2: Activate the extension • Log into Magento Admin Panel and go to Stores → Configuration → Biztech → Track Order and enter the activation key in the ''Activation Key'' field for the Australia Post extension then click the “Save Config” button. Step 3: Select Websites • When you enter and save the key it will be verified and you can select the websites where you need to use the Australia Post extension. Click the ''Save Config'' button after making your selections. Now, Track Order Extension got activated! You just have to set configurations. www.appjetty.com 6

  8. USER MANUAL – Track Order Configuration Please follow below mentioned steps to configure the “Track Order” extension. Go to Stores → Configuration. Step 1: General Configuration In the left column under Biztech tab click on Track Order, you can see its configuration sections. • Enabled: The extension will be disabled by default. You need to select “Yes” and enable the extension. • Allowed for Top Links: Choose “Yes” to display the track order link in the top links of your web page. • Allowed for Top Menu: Select “Yes” to display the track order link in the top menu. • Send Track Order Link: If you would link to send the “Track Order” link to customer via email, then choose “Yes”. Step 2: Widget Configuration • Go to Content → Widgets. Look for “Track Widget” and open it in edit mode. • Move to Containr selection in Layout updates. • Here you can select an option where you would like to display the widget. www.appjetty.com 7

  9. USER MANUAL – Track Order Front end: • The “Track Order” page will be displayed as shown in the image below. • Your customers can enter the order id and email address to track their order. All set! You are now ready to use the extension. www.appjetty.com 8

  10. USER MANUAL – Track Order Quick Notes • Admin needs to generate Tracking number. Go to Sales → Orders and open any order in detail view. Move to the “Shipments” section. • Click on the shipment grid and it will open up in detail view. • Look for “Shipping and Tracking Information”.
