  11. ‘One stop shop’ Vehicle storage (up to 25,000 at Bruntingthorpe) New vehicle preparation Body and mechanical refurbishment of new and used vehicles Vehicle remarketing (controlled disposal of fleet and leased vehicles) Expertise across a full selection of vehicles including cars, LCV, HGV and plant Operate the most technologically advanced refurbishment centres in the UK, currently refurbishing 3,000 cars/week! Grown from a single site to now managing multiple centres of excellence in whole life vehicle management B.I.A.S.

Car Storage since 1987- Multiple Permissions • Currently storing approx. 25,000 vehicles on site at Bruntingthorpe, processing over 200,000 vehicles per year and repainting approx. 2,500-3,000 vehicles per week • Also using space at Long Bennington (Nottinghamshire) for car storage (shared with others) • Ex RAF Wyton in Cambridgeshire will be also on line by October 2019 • Currently over 850 people employed on Bruntingthorpe site • Transporter Movements are important to sustaining employment on site – must be managed Planning for the Future of BPG

Stage 1: Introduction of Operational Plan • Historic Condition from 1998 stipulates a maximum of 200 transporters per week and a max of 45/day • Condition doesn’t cover whole site; not fit for purpose • Currently averaging at approx. 85, with peaks of 120 per day • Operational Plan proposed to include: • Agreed hours of operation and security • Agreed new vehicle number limitations • A transporter routing agreement • An agreed complaints/disciplinary procedure

Stage 2: Additional car storage, cessation of proving ground use for test and development at weekends, removal of aircraft recycling activities and offsite highway works to Bath Lane A5199 junction • Application 2: The second planning application will: • reduce the extent of proving and testing • cease proving and testing use on weekends and bank holidays • cease aircraft recycling activities • increase in transporter movements by 50% on Operational Plan and; • upgrades to the A5199/Bath Lane junction • Discussions on going with Highways Authority re both the potential roundabout and funds for villages for local road improvements • Circa £3m investment funded by the operator
