  1. Hey there, Welcome to Anxious Next! Right from my previous blog we explained to you how companies have been utilizing digital media to promote its products and services to its target audience. It is seen that from the report of IMAI (Internet and Mobile Association of India), more of investment in digital marketing came from the Banking and Financial Services followed by E-Commerce sectors, then tele-communication sectors and last but not the least FMCG+FMCD sectors. The total investment Banking and financial sectors has an amount of Rs 2,022 crores in this online market occupying 46% of the share. Whereas 29% of the share has been occupied by the E- Commerce sectors. Search platform of advertising have been used the most taking up the lion’s share of digital marketing. Followed by display medium as well as video medium. As Jan Dhan Yojana Scheme has been launched in 2015, there has been an increase in the number of account holders both in rural and urban areas, making them to take a decision of targeting audiences through mobile medium also. So what are the other reasons:- 1.To widen the number of clients– In one of my previous blog where it has been stated that the total number of internet subscribers would reach to a number of 500 million by June 2018, out of which 470 million active users of the internet and by 2021 there will be a total number of 635 million active users of the internet. This ensures them that digital platform will pave a way to reach a large number of Indian audiences and convert them into loyal customers.

Reasons as to why YONO Sbi has been a success in online campaign: 1.SBI holds a large number of customers in its database. Consisting mostly of young people. Hence targeting to them with respect to this campaign has made it a success. 2.Young aged consumers are interested in using those app where things can be found in the least clicks. YONO gives them this option. 3.Payment is normally done online which is suitable for the young generation to use them. 4.With convenience of use, youngster wants an app where you get to book anything in it. YONO app has the option. 5.With every booking done, one often gets a credit from it. This credit can be either in the form of good or monetary.
