Aims and Objetives • Dissemination of the Materials resulting from previous projects (2 Leonardo, 1 Lingua) • Exploitation of Materials (to implement, to test, to use the results) • Improvement of the teaching Resources at the institutions involved in teaching Greek • Achieve a higher number of trained teachers in Greek • Promote Greek in secondary, vocational and higher education institutions and in non-formal education • Promote the Greek Language and Culture

Management Activities • Management of the project trough the restricted area in the official website of Odysseus • Participation in the Meetings of the Project: •       Kick-off Meeting, Murcia (25-26 February) •     Coordination Meeting, Bulgary or Italy (July 2008) •    Coordination Meeting, Athens (February 2009) •      Concluding Meeting, Murcia (October-December 2009)

Promotion and Dissemination Activities • - Coordinator: • Design of the logo of Odysseus • Design and creation of the official website of Odysseus • Post of teaching materials in the virtual platform of Odysseus • Design and Print of informative leaflets and posters about Odysseus •  - Elea Ltd: • ·        Copy of teaching/ learning materials

Promotion and Dissemination Activities All Partners: - Link to Odysseus website at each partner institution - Publication of at least 2 notices and announcements in specialized reviews in each partner country - Distribution of print publicity and information about Odysseus at each partner country - E-Mailing to institutions and specialised societies related with Modern Greek Teaching and Greek Culture at each partner country - Spread out of Teaching Materiales at each partner country - Public presentation of Odysseus at each partner institution

Human Resources Training Activities • Organization of, at least, two courses of Modern Greek Language for Students • Organization of, at least, two training courses for Teachers of Greek • Organization of, at least, one Cultural Workshop / Seminar / Cultural activity related to Greek Modern Language and Culture • Participation in the Final Congress

Elaboration of Documents, Studies and Papers • Elaboration of a register with institutions, associations and societies involved in teaching and promotion of Modern Greek Language and Culture at each partner country • Report about the situation of Modern Greek Teaching/Learning in each institution partner • Report about the situation of Modern Greek Teaching/Learning in each partner country • Writing of, at least, one academic / scientific paper for the Concluding Congress

Expected Outcomes • Odysseus website • Corporative logo of Odysseus • 4 links to Odysseus website (one per partner institution) • Post of Teaching Materiales in the virtual platform • 4 Public presentations of Odysseus and the Teaching Materials • 200 Copies of the Teaching Materiales • Ca. 1000 informative leaflets abour Odysseus • Mailings (post and e-mail) to university networks, specialised societies and alike

  18. Odysseus as Framework Odysseus is just a framework for the dissemination of Modern Greek, which means it should hold not only the proposed activities but any other initiative that could reasonably fit these dissemination purposes.

What kind of courses (intensiv, conversation, greek for specific purposes? What kind of seminars? • Who are our principal target groups? (students, teachers, inmigrants, professionals)?
