Introduction • Jonathan Alderson has a BA from the university of Reading, United Kingdom, and holds a Master of Landscape Architecture with Certificate in Urban Design from University of Pennsylvania. • Jonathan Alderson, who has taught at Temple University, is registered Landscape Architect in Delaware, Irciana, Maryland, New York, and Pennsylvania and a member of the Council of Landscape Architecture Registratior Boards.

As a firm, we believe that the use of native planting and the appropriate materials combined with a strong regard for site and ecology can lead to the creation of extraordinary and sustainable places.We are committed to design that, born from the site, sculpts open space in to artful form.

  6. CHESTER COUNTY FARM • The Landscape master plan for the farm included hedgerows,wild life areas, meadows and gardens. The concept throughout was to connect the building with the landscape.

  7. CHESTER COUNTY FARM • A ruined barnyard garden intricate water features and a system of trails were all part of scope.

  8. A FARM IN KIMBERTON • Services included master planning and site designing. The design included site planning and grading, detailed courtyard design,perennial gardens and meadows

  9. A FARM IN KIMBERTON • The aim throughout was to allow the new residence to blend seamlessly in to the native landscape

  10. An Estate in Malvern • This project involves the creation of large outdoor room built in conjuction with an addition to an 18 century farm house • Within, this space a reinforced turf area surrounds a water rill that drops in to a lower level fish pond

  11. An Estate in Malvern • A pool area included a pierced brick wall and trellis for a seating area.

  12. Hunter Douglas Headquarters • Jonathan Alderson developed a site plan for the new Hunter Douglas Corporate Head Quarter in the Hudson River Valley. Combining sensitive site work and a diverse native plant. Design builds upon the existing beauty of site,while improving storm water quality and wild life habitat.

Hunter Douglas Headquarters • Element including a restore woodland edge, reclaimed stone wall, meadows with mown path and terrace garden provide for a variety of outdoor experience and foreground for long views to the Hudson River Valley. He use harvested material, planned composite of all site work waste, and a balancing all site material.

  14. The Wellness Community • The design of meditation garden and future arboretum for Wellness Community in Wilmington, Delaware. The design concept was to create space to allow for several different type of participant event along with a meditation garden for quite contemplation.

  15. The Wellness Community • The redesign of the existing terrace and walkways allowed for accessibility to the meditation garden and future arboretum.

  16. Chestnut Hill Top Of The Hill Plaza • Following winning design competition for the new Top Of The Hill Park in Chestnut Hill .He created a vibrant new public open space in what was once a back water.

  18. conclusion • Jonathan designs the landscape in the harmony of the nature and ecology. • Most designs are performed with the native plants and local materials to design extra ordinary and sustainable places.
