  1. Survey Finds Tummy Tuck Most Popular UK op If you’re thinking about reaping the benefits of a tummy tuck, you’re clearly not alone: according to recent figures released by the Harris Poll, interest in medical aesthetic treatments is at an all-time high in the UK – and the most desirable procedure of them all is an abdominoplasty. According to the survey, a whopping 40 per cent of British adults are considering a surgical or nonsurgical cosmetic treatment in the next 12 months, with 37 per cent considering nonsurgical treatments and 22 per cent considering surgical. The main driver of this surge towards aesthetic procedures is coming from the younger generation: nearly two-thirds (62 per cent) of adults aged between 18 and 34 are considering nonsurgical treatments in the next 12 months.

  2. Even more interesting is the statistic that suggests that only slightly more women (41 per cent) than men (38 per cent) are considering a cosmetic treatment in the next year. When it comes to non-surgical treatments, cosmetic dentistry such as whitening and veneers rule the roost – but in the field of surgical treatments, facelifts have finally been usurped by the tummy tuck. The top five most desired treatments, in order: 1.Tummy Tuck (31% of those surveyed were considering it) 2.Facelift (28%) 3.Liposuction (28%) 4.Chin/neck lift (23%) 5.Breast augmentation (21%) Why would the tummy tuck become such a popular procedure? Experts are pointing to the idea amongst millennials that undergoing cosmetic enhancements is not that different from traditional methods of self-care, such as going to the gym – and that having confidence in the way you look is one of the most crucial things a person needs in today’s society. One of the key factors of self-confidence is (and always has been) body shape –something that is harder and harder to maintain in today’s society. No matter how old you are, how many children you’ve had, and how strenuous (or not) your work life is, you’re still expected to conform to a particular body type – and more often than not, the biggest amount of pressure comes from yourself. Why a tummy tuck? Because nothing restores or improves body shape better than abdominoplasty. It can get to the pockets of fat that exercise and diet

  3. can’t shift, restore the position of stomach muscles that have been affected by pregnancy and weight gain, and remove the excess saggy skin which remains when vast amounts of weight have gone. Simply put, it’s the best way of restoring the shape you once had, or even giving you the one you’ve always wanted. The procedure is simple enough –there’ll be a consultation period, where Mr Anthony MacQuillan will review your medical history, discuss your goals and expectations, give you all the facts on potential risks and what is achievable, and then advise you on what is the best option for you. More and more people are discovering the benefits of abdominoplasty – why not join them? Content Source
