  6. Borders and Geography • The borders of Mississippi are Tennessee , Alabama, Louisiana, and Arkansas • The geography is the Mississippi river, Yazoo, and Chickasawhay

  7. Agriculture and farming • Mississippi has some of the richest soil and the nicest soil in the U.S. • Mississippi is also good for farming because the weather is in the 90’s. • Also Mississippi ‘s weather does wonders for the crops and green lands.

It was the 20th state. • In 1986 the Tennessee Tombigbee waterway was completed. • In 2005 hurricane Katrina hit Mississippi's coastline killing hundreds of people, water levels were so high people had to wait to be rescued on their roof tops.

He claimed the Mississippi valley for France. This included present day Mississippi.
