  • Created the first official nonscientific art payload taken
  • into outer Space by NASA in 1989.
  • Lowry has been a Dean, Fellow and Service Consultant
  • at the Center for Advanced Visual Studies, MIT.
  • The NSS awarded him the Leonardo Da Vinci Space
  • Art Award.
