I. We are instruments of God (5-7)

  • We rely on the power of God to do what He wants done.

    • We don’t have to have great ability.

    • We only have to have availability.

  • This takes the pressure off us.

    • Neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything.

    • Only God makes things grow.

Ii we are co laborers 8 9

II. We are co-laborers (8-9)

  • Paul and Apollos worked together.

    • Paul was a planter.

    • Apollos was a waterer.

  • The church is a body with different parts.

  • Where the vision comes from

    • By the grace of God

      • An expert builder lays a foundation.

      • Others build upon it.

    • The vision of God
