Tuition Payments • Due August 16th. If you have approved and accepted aid, subtract that from your charges and the difference is your personal balance. • Payment Options: • In person to the Cashier, 2nd floor HS/HSL. • By mail to the lock box on the bill. • On line through the link on the SURFS homepage. • Installment plan- 3 equal monthly installments; 1st due at sign up along with $10.00 set up fee.
University Refunds • Processed through HigherOne. • Select your delivery method at www.myonemoney.com using the card you receive in the mail. There are three options: • Direct Deposit to an existing bank account. • Have a check mailed. • Open a Higher One account. • Refunds in process show as “refund requested” in SURFS and take 7-10 business days to receive after posting in SURFS. • Need help with your refund card? Health Insurance • All full time students are billed for health insurance along with their tuition. Cost for 6 months is $1743.00. • Fall coverage is August 1 – January 31. • Coverage continues without a break as long as you are enrolled both fall and spring each academic year. • To waive our insurance with comparable coverage. • Wavier site: http://www.fincsvc.umaryland.edu/sa/images/Waiver-2014.pdf • Due dueby September 15th for the 13/14 academic year.
Other Options • Vision insurance • One exam and pair of glasses or supply of contacts per academic year. • Cost is $54.20. • Call Student Accounting at 410-706-1335 for enrollment assistance. • Dental Discount Plan • $198.50 per semester. • Sign up in person at Student Accounting. • Service through AGD clinic only, 410-706-2940.
