  4. What does Jesus’ ascension mean for us every day? John 14:2-3 In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. to prepare a place for us

  5. Key Point #1 Jesus’ ascension means that every day we are one day closer to being with him in the place that he has gone ahead to prepare for us.

  6. Comment… Mary and Joanne are talking about the place Jesus is preparing for us. Mary says, “I sure would like to know more about what it’s going to be like.” Joanne says, “Oh, I don’t know. I think it’s enough just to know that Jesus is the one who’s preparing it, so I know it will be perfect for us.”

Ephesians 1:20,22 …which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms…And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church…
