  5. Add GREAT FOOD, Stuff it all into 1 week during the summer, YOU HAVE Scholarship Camp!

  6. Who can come to CAMP? CLUBBERS: First timers: in the 5th grade going into 6th grade next fall, have a 10th birthday before 7/28/12, and will finish one TNT Awana Book or higher before camp. Returning campers: finish another Awana year’s book(s) before camp. LEADERS: You know Awana, you can do CAMP. You love to see God’s Word impact young people, come see it like you have never seen it happen before.

  7. Why Awana? Scholarship Camp? “To reach boys & girls (& parents) with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.” What is the Gospel? It is GOOD NEWS: John 3:16, God so LOVED that He GAVE His Son, Jesus to die for our sin in our place. That whosoever believes on Him (accepts His sacrifice for our sin), shall not perish but HAVE Everlasting LIFE. We pray that if you haven’t already trusted Jesus, the Holy Spirit will make the message clear to you and that you chose to believe on Jesus.

  8. How to REACH? FUN & Entertainment! You are here as a clubber to have GOOD FUN, competition at Quizzing and Games, and be recognized for your acheivements. Parents bring their clubbers to learn God’s Word and to watch them compete, perform, be recognized, and have FUN.

  9. How to TRAIN? Wholesome FUN, Competition, & Entertainment! God provides all good things to enjoy, 1Tim.6:17. God’s Word: listen to it, study it, memorize it, apply it. 1Tim.2:15 Awana Theme Verse. Learn to Serve Jesus by serving others (helping) by sharing God’s LOVE and GOOD News by actions, attitudes, and words. Rom.12:1-2 GOAL: Keep going to Awana and consider coming to Scholarship Camp for a week of intense (without distractions) FUN and TRAINING with Jesus (learning, applying, growing with other disciples your age, 2Tim2:22).

  10. How to help your child to Succeed? Pray for them! Pray for their friends! Pray for opportunities (like Awana Club and Scholarship Camp) for them to have good fun, learn, and grow in their relationship with Jesus and others just like Him. (Discipleship: learning, applying, growing with other disciples their own age, 2Tim2:22).

  11. Why Awana? Scholarship Camp? There are 2 types of influences in the world: Prov.13:20 “He that walketh with the wise men shall be wise: but a companion of foolsshall be destroyed” Psm14:1a “The fool hath said in his heart there is no God.” 2Tim2:22 “Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” The Goal of Awana & Scholarship Camp is to bring together wise young disciples of Christ for them to learn, grow, and help have a positive influence on each other.
